Ruth Heath, center, a guide for the Milton Hershey School, listens to questions from Road Scholars, who are interested in the country’s largest pre-K-12 home and school for boys and girls, located just minutes away from Penn State’s Hershey Medical Center. The school, which began as an orphanage and sits on 11,000 acres, has partnerships with Penn State through its engineering and design programs and its health sciences curriculum. In addition, 10 percent of the faculty at the school have degrees from Penn State.
